Berlin - A proposed law to make FGM a case of grave physical assault in all cases has been taken off the parliament’s agendy this week by the governing coalition, who seek to present their own draft legislation on the issue. Currently, FGM is either treated as physical assault or grave physical assault. The new draft will  include a suspension of the period of limitaion.
