I would like to introduce my niece to you today. Anita Jabu Sesay is now 13 years old. She was born to an insane mother who abandoned her and left when she was a baby. She has proven to be extremely intelligent ever since she was a little girl. Her family, however, could not afford the school for Anita.

I would like to thank you for your support.  Due to your help my granddaughter Esther Dumbuya won’t be cut. Her life conditions were already difficult enough since her mother, a prostitute, gave her away shortly after her birth.

Esther is one year and nine months old. Despite her circumstances she is a very energetic and active girl who brings much joy into my life.

I have done enough campaigns against FGM and spoken much about this crime against little girls.

Thanks to our sponsorship contracts, we were able to save 1000 girls from FGM within the framework of our “Save a little desert flower”campaign in only one year. I am sure we can and we will be able to save one million girls with your help. We have already received many applications from Africa.
