Female genital mutilation is not a religious duty, but an inhuman and dangerous crime! Since 2012, female genital mutilation has been a crime in Switzerland. The Islamic Central Council Switzerland justified FGM Type I in an "Islamic legal opinion" FGM Type I and recommended it for muslim women.
I urge the Swiss authorities to take immediate legal action against Qaasim Illi and his Islamic Central Council Switzerland!
